Cal Dems 4 Governance is unequivocally pro-democracy, pro-constitution, pro-due process, pro-worker, anti-corruption, economically populist, against war, and 100% supports ending campaign contributions by corporations and the billionaire class.
As Democrats we share many similar values, but we also understand there are differences. We understand that regulations are needed to implement the freedoms that our Constitution enshrines. This is why we seek efficient, compliance oriented, and objective licensing over the constant passage of unworkable mandates.
We refuse to be sensationalists or activists for a cause, and advocate for boring administrative change, instead. Our advocacy is quiet, purposeful, and most importantly of all, feasible. Some people will say we are backsliding into "anarchy" and the Wild West, and another side will call us "tyrants" for capitualing. We welcome the conversation.
